Spring break is a magical time filled with possibility and excitement and can be a good start and preview to the possibility and excitement of summer. Along with all the magical excitement, stress about where to go, who to go with, and how to prepare for spring break normally clouds the looking-forward-to part.
Where to go
If you’re looking for a beach filled with people and a high percentage of running into people you know, the most popular places to go are Destin, Rosemary, Seagrove, Seaside, and Panama City. Less populated or Cobb-infested waters include Cape San Blas on the gulf of Florida or Cumberland and Tybee Island on the coast of Georgia.
What to buy
To be fully prepared for Spring Break an abundance of things is necessary. First of all, spring break isn’t remotely possible for the girls without at least 3,000 different cute bathing suits. With the requirement for a ridiculous amount of swim suits, a girl understandably stresses about where to buy them and a way to not spend a fortune for the break. Sunglasses are also a necessity for spring break. Whether or not you buy $200 or $20 glasses, you’ll need some to protect your eyes.
Where to buy
Whether to buying online or in stores, the best deals and cutest suits are sort of hard to find. For a cheaper alternative, rosegal.com or zaful.com never fail to provide $10-$20 suits that are less common. In stores, there’s always reliable Target, American Eagle, or Pacsun for pricier but better quality swimwear. High quality glasses are easy to find such as Ray Bans but if you want to save the bank, Target can also easily suffice.
The Beach
When the beach trip itself is taking place, there is a lot to prepare for. Packing snacks and drinking water is always a good idea to stay healthy and hydrated and avoid light-headedness or low blood sugar. Also making sure to regularly apply sunscreen will help to avoid a sunburn that ruins the whole break and causes weeklong isolation while everyone's out having fun getting tan. Keep in mind- sunscreen doesn’t prevent tanning, just sunburn.
