Who's Who Recap

On February 17th, Hillgrove had the annual Who’s Who ceremony. Who’s Who is a recognition ceremony for the top 10% of Hillgrove’s senior class. Students have to apply for Who’s Who by filling out an application which includes the student’s GPA, a list of their extracurricular activities, and a detailed list of their achievements in high school. These applications were then reviewed by selected teachers, and the parents of the student are called by the school to notify them that their student has been accepted into Who’s Who. At the ceremony, students are expected to dress up for the ceremony, and several groups from Hillgrove perform (from the Hawkapellas and Hillgrove’s Wind Symphony), and then names start to be called. Once a student’s name is called, their family escorts them up to the front of the gym, where they are given a medal, and a certificate. Being accepted into Who’s Who is a big honor and it is a special moment for every senior who made it. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!
