There's No Place Like Home... Have A Staycation!

1. Be a couch potato

The easiest way to have fun for people who need to take a break from working so hard at school is to watch Netflix and order food in. You can binge watch different series (EX: Parks and Rec, The Office, 30 Rock, etc.) you've never seen before! And if you don’t have Netflix, or you don’t have a friend who has Netflix, then go to your nearest Walgreens, and pick up some Redbox movies.

2. Enjoy the Great Outdoors

We live around some of the best national parks to go on a hike, go waterfall watching, or simply just enjoy the warmer weather--hopefully, Some parks you could visit would be Kennesaw Mountain, Amicalola Falls, and Sweetwater Creek, along with lots of other parks.

3. Make plans with your friends

It is most likely that not all of your friends are on vacation, so for the ones who aren’t gone, go out to dinner with them, or go to the mall. Spend time with your friends while you actually have time to without having to worry about homework!

4. Visit a nearby college town

We live relatively near to several college towns. UGA, Georgia Tech, Auburn, and even more colleges are within a short distance from where we live, and you could fit a visit within one day!! It gets you out of the house without you having to spend lots of money!

5. Explore Atlanta!

One of the biggest metropolises in the world is right outside our door, there are so many things to do in Atlanta, you could go to the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coke, the Human Rights Museum, and there are so many more options! There are also many options for you if you don't want to spend any money! You could walk the beltline, go to Centennial Olympic park, or go to Ponce City Market, there are an endless amount of free, and fun things to do in Atlanta.

There are so many other fun options to make your staycation better even beyond these ideas, just do your research and have a fun Spring Break at home!
