Whether it’s through the fame of your olympic dad and television famous mom or being known for “the most annoying song in the world”, everyone's dream is to become famous one day. Kids are always asked what they want to be when they grow up and some of the most common answers include: a doctor, an athlete, and Famous. At such a young age these are just dreams, but as we age the new question is, “How will we reach this goal/dream?”
In a society there are millions of ways to become famous. Some of these people are loved and praised, while others are attacked with hate. For example Kendall Jenner, who was born into a famous family, is now praised by her millions of instagram followers. She posts photos that seem to get thousand if not millions of like every time. On the other hand people like Rebecca Black, who wrote the song Friday (that became known as one of the most annoying songs in the world) is seen to be receiving an astonishing amount of hate. When viewing her YouTube video of the song she has hundreds of thousands of dislikes and hate comments. Even though these two people are being reacted to differently by society, they are both famous. When it comes to the students at Hillgrove High School the majority of them want to obtain their fame through positive feedback of society. Natalie Miller, a current senior, says she already has a chance to become famous: “I am writing a book for our Spanish 7 class and we are getting published.” After earning all of the money from publishing a book she said she “would take her parents out to a nice dinner” and “pay back my parents because they have always supported me.” Natalie even went as far to say that she “would like to do something with charity work” after becoming famous. Another student who seemed to have good intentions with his future fame was Javier Cruz. After becoming a singer Javier said “I would either help charities or help people that are ill... and buy my dad a new truck."
